Corner shot is a high-tech weapon support system that provides the ability to observe, acquire and engage targets from around the corner.

Designed to enable military, law enforcement and security operators to effectively observe and engage targets without being exposed, Corner Shot consists of a segmented, assault rifle-type folding stock – complete with a high-resolution video camera and color display – onto which a pistol of choice can be attached. A lateral left and right swinging hinge mechanism and a remote trigger control allow the user to squeeze the trigger from behind the safety and comfort of any suitable structure

The Corner Shot is making public debuts on the TV show Future Weapons and the upcoming Angelina Jolie movie Wanted.

The system was designed by Corner Shot Holdings, an Israeli company founded with the help of US investors, by Amos Golan and Asaf Nadel, former senior officers of elite units of the Israel Defense Forces.

The device has already been used in operations by Israeli forces and a number of US police departments have also tested the equipment.

The Israelis have already come up with mods for the corner shot, here’s another vid of rather novel but effective idea.

Last week at the SHOT Show in Las Vegas, Corner Shot unveiled the new Corner Shot Assault Pistol Rifle, the CS-APR 5.56.

“The APR version of the Corner Shot system combines the same design principles, features and capabilities of the handgun version with a small 5.56 mm assault rifle, thereby providing a versatile range of weapon systems that can incorporate the weapon of choice’ for any law enforcement or regular infantry organization”

Today’s combat situations in low-intensity conflicts involve fighting in urban terrain, which unnecessarily exposes security forces to the enemy, said Amos Golan, one of the inventors.

“This Corner Shot removes the need for this initial exposure.”
