Zombie Max Ammo For The Zombie Apocalypse
In an interview with Guns and Ammo, President of Hornady Manufacturing Steve Hornad, said:
“I’ve seen several of the documentaries and read the history books (e.g Dawn of the Dead, World War Z etc.), which is when I learned of this threat and realized we weren’t really prepared. I felt we had a civic duty to our customers, our nation, nay simply the living, to offer the most effective ammunition we could develop.” [Guns and Ammo]
While Hornad’s comment may have been said with an air of humor, the new Z-Max bullets are no joke – these are real live rounds designed to do one thing.

Zombie Max Bullets For The Zombie Apocalypse
In recent years zombie hype has escalated thanks to cult films such as Night of the Living Dead and Dawn of the Dead, TV shows like The Walking Dead, novels like War World Z, and the hundreds of Zombie Walks and Parties that followed in the footsteps of the trend.
Whether or not mankind is under threat from the undead (I’d go as far to say, ‘No, we’re not,’ but it’s becoming apparent not everyone thinks the same?) companies are certainly catching on to the increased interest to help shift products.
Not that this is necessarily a bad thing, Gerber’s line of Zombie Apocalyse tools are an example of stunning engineering and are a delight in any handyman’s possession.
