Using open source software it is possible to hack your favorite or most hated websites so that they display the features you want.
If you have ever written a blog, edited your myspace layouts or embedded a video on a web page you will have no doubt come across the scripts and codes that make these web pages work.
Add-ons, plug-ins and hacks are all examples of programmers’ codes which have been tweaked to give the desired results.
The great thing about open source code is that we can become the programmer and hack these codes ourselves. With a simple application called Greasemonkey, you can hack your favorite (or most hated!) sites so they display what you want them to…sound technical?
