iPad Vs Microwave

Judging by the popularity of our previous “Putting things in the microwave” article, it would seem that many of our readers have destructive thoughts. That’s why I thought this clip might put a smile on some people’s faces – namely those who despise Apple.

Kenny Irwin, an artist who lays claim to over 500 microwaving episode and hundreds of unique microwave art creations, decided to add to his repertoire of microwaved artworks by zapping the Apple’s newest device, the iPad, not only that, he decided to sell the modified product on eBay.

Listed by seller perfectly madebirds, the “Microwaved Apple iPad Wi-Fi + 3G (64GB) One iPad professionally microwaved by your professional microwave operator” went up for auction at the end of April with a starting bid of $1. Unfortunately for the seller (and buyer?) the highest bid of $132 was not enough to meet the reserve price.
