MSI Dual Screen Tablet PC
MSI's dual screen laptop may become a reality....
Originally unveiled at CES as a conceptual device, MSI’s dual screen tablet PC may be available in the not too distant future, according to a company spokesperson.
The device runs the Windows 7 Home Premium OS and offers plenty of visual reality via the two 10-inch touch-screens. Unfortunately, the touch-screens a reported to perform less-then-perfect, but the MSI reps said the company are working hard to find a lightweight, high-capacity solution that will keep the weight of the unit low while providing 8 to 10 hours of battery life.
Another downside is the 1.6-GHz Intel Atom Z530, which in all honesty, may be a little slow for such a graphic based device.
But don’t fear, the unnamed reps also said that MSI are waiting for the release of the Apple tablet to see if it’s own device can compete, so there’s some still time for them swap out the CPU and change the touch-screens.
