MSI Wind battery hack to charge iPhone....

Have you ever been caught in the situation when your iPhone battery is dead, but your netbook is still live and kicking?

Well with a little tinkering, the guys over at PRUSADJS.CZ rigged an MSI Wind netbook battery so it can charge an iPhone. What’s more, the battery is able to fully charge the iPhone using around half the battery power, leaving a reasonable amount of time for on-the-go computing.

Once the battery is open, there is ample room to wire-up and solder a USB port and 12 volt supply. When the thing is rigged up, it will not only charge the iPhone, but it can also power another device like an outboard controller via the 12 volt supply.
