R2-D2 DVD Projector

Here is a fantastic ‘geek’ custom projector you can actually buy. The highly anticipated R2-D2 Video Projector from Nikko Home Electronics, is a perfect addition to any fanboy’s bedroom, home theater or underground layer.

The R2-D2 projector mod is ½ scale and comes with some cool features including DVD reader, iPod compatible dock, game console dock and a Millennium Falcon remote control….it’s the details that count.

Unfortunately R2-D2 is strictly limited edition with only 4000 units being made. The projector retails at 2799 Euros ($3,555).

As well the R2-D2 DVD Projector, the company also manufactures an R2-D2 web cam for around 30 dollars.
