Sony Zeus Z1 PlayStation Phone Video
New videos of the Sony PlayStation phone have been leaked on the Internet…
Last month we featured the leaked images of the highly anticipated Sony PlayStation phone. The photos appeared to be real, but now there’s confirmation of the prototype by way of a not one, but three Internet video clips.
The first clip to arise was shot from a distance and is rather blurry, but a good effort on behalf of the spy cam operator nonetheless. Fortunately, two slightly more recent clips are much clearer – you can actually see the OS working – but we still don’t see any games in action!
According to tech blogs Engadget and Techblog.gr, the device is codenamed Zeus, and should be crowned as the Sony Ericsson Z1 upon its release.
The Zeus Z1 will feature a 1GHz processor, 512MB RAM, 1GB of ROM and an 8-magepixel camera. The device will apparently run the Android 2.3 when it debuts – previous reports suggested it would run 3.0 a.k.a Ginger Bread, I guess depending on the time of its release, it could run either one.
Blog’s such as Cnet and MobileCrunch are reporting that the phone cost around $500 with 5 games – although this is yet to be officially confirmed.
Still no official word as to when the device will be available, but it should definitely be sometime this year.
