Images of what maybe the new Zune HD found their way onto the web last week. The pics look promising, and not only that, there are now unconfirmed specifications to go with them.
Bloggers’ have speculated that the Zune HD, with it’s High-Definition display, will go head-to-head with the iPod Touch.

The Zune HD is set to feature a multitouch (capacitive) OLED screen in a 16:9 aspect ratio and will include a TV output (apparently HDMI). There should be 16GB and 32Gb versions, both supporting wireless syncing to your computer. Some speculate the Zune HD will support 3D Xbox games using NVIDIA’s Tegra chipset and there is also word of a new browser which supports multitouch.
The Zune HD is set to launch this fall (probably September) with new details of international availability in Canada, the U.K, and France.
